Executive Vice President
Jhevasse Mitchell serves as Executive Vice President at Koa Partners (Koa). In this capacity, Mr. Mitchell oversees the development and project management initiatives at the firm. With an extensive track record of project success, Mr. Mitchell builds high-performance teams to deliver quality solutions and mitigate risk while maintaining a bottom line focus.
Prior to joining Koa, Mr. Mitchell served as the Development Manager for Neal Richards Group (NRG), where he was responsible for overall project operations including design, construction, business development, financial management, and risk mitigation for a national healthcare portfolio totaling $192M in project value. Mr. Mitchell’s responsibilities also included hiring and managing design and construction personnel, overseeing the capital budget, meeting with project investors, and executing contract negotiations.
Prior to NRG, Mr. Mitchell spent five years as a Project Manager at Adolfson & Peterson Construction, a commercial construction firm in Dallas, TX. During that time, Mr. Mitchell successfully managed over $100M in construction projects and completed pre-construction/design on multiple institutional, healthcare, and office development projects.
Mr. Mitchell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. His certifications include LEED AP BD+C, OSHA 30 Hour, and SW3P, as well as formal training in Project Scheduling, Prolog 6.5, Project Crisis Management, ASHE Certifications, Mold Awareness and Moisture Control, Incident Investigation, and Storm Water Pollution Management.
Mr. Mitchell’s community activities include participation in The Texas Food Bank, The Stewpot, The American Red Cross, The Samaritan Inn Homeless Shelter, Samaritan’s Purse, Heart and Hammers Dallas, Clothe a Child, Meals on Wheels, and Bahamas Hurricane Relief.
